Ways to Help at Home
  • Help your child become fluent (quick) with writing his/her name, recognizing and writing the letters of the alphabet, recognizing numbers 1-20, and counting orally.  Our goal is to count to 100 by the end of the year.

  • Help your child learn his/her personal information.  He/She should be able to recite his/her full name, address, phone number, and birthday.

  • We need a Shoe Sheriff!  Please help your child learn to tie his/her shoes at home.  Unfortunately, this is not a Kindergarten standard that we teach at school.  If your child learns to tie, he/she can become a Shoe Sheriff who will help their friends by tying shoes.
